At its foundation is a layer of hand nested calico pocket springs. Each spring moves independently, allowing the mattress to respond precisely to the shape and movement of the body. In the 150 by 200 centimeter size, 1,720 vanadium steel pocket springs provide detailed contouring and consistent support.
The upholstery begins with bonded British fleece wool and cotton, creating a durable and resilient natural foundation. Long strand South American horsetail is blended with British fleece wool to add buoyancy, ventilation, and responsive comfort.
Real Shetland wool blended with cotton creates a soft and breathable surface layer. Shetland wool manages temperature and moisture naturally, while cotton contributes strength, softness, and airflow.
The Regal Superb is secured by hand with traditional tufting and felt washers, then finished with three rows of hand side stitching. Protective wool reinforces the mattress borders, while air vents encourage circulation throughout its natural upholstery.
The result is a gently soft and breathable mattress with a lively, responsive character that follows the body without creating a deeply enveloping sensation.
